I grew up in Dorset, where I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by our own horses from a very young age. There was something about them that captured my heart immediately, and ever since, I’ve been a horse girl passionate about horse photography.
I currently have two mares, two Collies, and a tiny cat, and now live back in Somerset in a small rural village near Shepton Mallet. As a Somerset photographer, I love capturing the beauty of my animals and the stunning countryside I’ve loved taking photographs for as long as I can remember. In fact, my old phone had over 100,000 photos before it finally gave up and I had to replace it! There is something incredibly special about capturing timeless memories of our animals, particularly horses and dogs, although the occasional cow or other four-legged friend often finds their way in front of my camera too.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my horses and dogs, exploring the countryside on long walks, or in the kitchen baking some goodness.
My goal is to make every session as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. I will aim to guide you throughout your shoot and allow plenty of time so that neither you nor your animals feel rushed. Other pets and family members are always welcome to join in too.
I will never push any horse to do something they are uncomfortable with. Instead, I aim to work patiently to capture natural, authentic moments that truly reflect the connection and bond you share.
